GE Vernova Falls 6% Despite Strong Q2 Results, Higher 2026 Guidance

Shares of GE Vernova Inc. (GEV) declined 6% on Wednesday morning after reporting strong second-quarter results and raising its full-year 2026 financial guidance.

The stock is currently trading at $1,009.64, down $69.17 or 6.41%, on the NYSE. It opened at $1,021.01 after closing the previous session at $1,078.81. The stock has traded between $530.16 and $1,195.94 over the past 52 weeks.

Second-quarter revenue rose 22% to $11.1 billion, while net income increased to $649 million, or $2.47 per share, from $492 million, or $1.86 per share, a year earlier.
