(ACTG) announced that subsidiary Safety Braking Corp. has entered into a settlement agreement with Universal City Development Partners Ltd. and Universal City Studios LLLP with respect to the patents that apply to vehicle magnetic braking technology.Acacia Research also announced that its another subsidiary Telematics Corp. has settled a pending litigation against Xata Corp.
