Tuesday, Viad Corp (VVI) disclosed that it completed the acquisition of The Becker Group Ltd. on January 4 for $24.3 million in cash. The company expects the acquisition to be accretive to its 2008 income. Viad also said that additional guidance for the business would be included in its guidance, which will be provided in connection with its 2007 fourth quarter and full year earnings press release on February 1.Further, Viad added that Becker Group would have access to the resources of the GES Worldwide Network and Exhibitgroup/Giltspur, including expert installation and dismantling services and high-quality custom fabrication capabilities across the U.S. and abroad.
