Detour Gold Corp. (DGC.TO) on Thursday revealed the appointment of Michael Kenyon to the company's board of directors, effective March 11, 2008. Kenyon was a founding director of Cumberland Resources Ltd. In 2002, Kenyon co-founded Canico Resource Corp., became President and chief executive officer, and acquired the Onca Puma nickel laterite deposit in Brazil.
