Unisys Corp. (UIS) said that the U.S. Department of Justice or DOJ has awarded a contract to provide professional and technical services supporting the DOJ's Asset Forfeiture Program or AFP, a nationwide law enforcement program that manages assets forfeited in the prosecution of criminals and criminal enterprises. The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity or IDIQ contract has a six-month base period and six one-year options, exercisable at the discretion of the government.Unisys noted that it would be eligible to provide a range of services including investigative and analytical services, consulting, technical services, and case-related professional support to AFP management and field Professionals.Further, the contract will enable Unisys to continue its support of the DOJ in its law enforcement efforts.
