Journal Communications Inc. (JRN) said its Journal Broadcast Group Inc. and Journal Broadcast Corp. completed the purchase of KWBA-TV in Sierra Vista from Tucson Communications LLC and Cascade Broadcasting Group in an undisclosed transaction.
The company said KWBA allows it to increase its hyper-local news focus. Journal Communications now has two television stations and four radio stations in the Tucson market.
