Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) announced that Christine A. Poon, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Worldwide Chairman of Pharmaceuticals Group, has announced her plans to retire on March 1, 2009, from the Company and the Board.

The company said that Poon began her career with Johnson & Johnson in November 2000, as Company Group Chairman of Pharmaceuticals Group. Before joining Johnson & Johnson, Poon spent 15 years at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where her most recent position was President of International Medicines.
