Bovis Homes Group Plc (BVS.L) announced the appointment of Alastair Lyons as independent non-executive Deputy Chairman with effect from October 1, 2008. In this newly created position, Alastair would also undertake the role of Senior Independent Director.
The company noted that Alastair has considerable commercial and retail experience and is non-executive Chairman of Admiral Group Plc, a position he has held since July 2000.
