Estonian Air Navigation Service chooses Era Systems for surface ADS-B and multilateration surveillance solution at Tallinn Airport - Quick Facts

Tuesday, SRA International Inc. (SRX) said that its subsidiary, Era Systems Corp., was selected by Estonian Air Navigation Service for a surface ADS-B and multilateration surveillance solution at the Tallinn Airport, Estonia's gateway airport.

According to the company, Estonian ANS launched the Tallinn Tower Modernization Project to enhance capacity, increase ground safety and improve overall services to cope with increasing airport operations. As part of this project, Estonian ANS sought next generation technologies to upgrade their existing air traffic management system and has selected Era's surface surveillance technology featuring its MSS surveillance system and Squid vehicle tracking units.

The company noted that Era's solution would be integrated into an advanced-surface movement guidance and control system provided by AviBit, the prime on the contract.
