Aurobindo Pharma announced that its subsidiary Aurobindo Pharma Australia received an approval from therapeutic goods administration (TGA) from Government of Australia for registration of Amlodipine Besylate tablets of 5 mg and 10 mg strengths.
Amlodipine Besylate tablets fall under the Central Nervous System therapeutic segment and is indicated for the first line treatment of hypertension and can be used as the sole agent to control blood pressure in the majority of patients.
