Xenoport Inc. (XNPT) announced positive preliminary results Tuesday morning from a Phase 2 clinical trial of arbaclofen placarbil, also known as XP19986, for the treatment of patients with spasticity due to spinal cord injury.
Xenoport Inc. has been rising for the bulk of early trade Tuesday and is now up 1.58 at $23.24. Shares have been gaining ground for nearly a week and are now trading at over a 4-month high.
