An always-on, always-connected "ecosystem" of wireless devices is the next big thing in consumer electronics, according to an esteemed panel hosted by tech website CNET.It's no longer enough for manufacturers to simply talk about devices, Google Chairman Eric Schmidt told CNET's Executive Editor Molly Wood."Smartphones, tablets, and other devices are portals into all the world's information...The right model is to think of these as peer-to-peer devices and the trick is to make them work," he said.
