Hall & Oates scored a number one single with "Kiss On My List" on April 11, 1981.

The track, featured on their "Voices" album, was the duo's second chart-topper, after 1977's "Rich Girl." It was also the start of the group's most commercially successful period. Over the next few years, they would score number ones with "Private Eyes," "I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)," "Maneater" and "Out of Touch."

"Kiss On My List" took over number one from Blondie's "Rapture." It held on for three weeks, before being replaced by Sheena Easton's "Morning Train (Nine to Five)."
