Bob Dylan’s fourth studio release “Another Side of Bob Dylan” was recorded at the Columbia Records recording studios in New York City on June 9, 1964. The album includes Dylan’s classic track “It Ain’t Me Babe,” as well as a selection of other originals performed on acoustic guitar, harmonica and piano. The album marked a new direction for Dylan, who opted to move away from political and social issues. Speaking with the New York Times, Dylan claimed that their weren’t any “finger pointin’” tunes on the album. Dylan famously recorded the entire album in one all-night session. He later revealed that the recording was made with little more than the help of a “couple of bottles of Beaujolais.” According to songfacts.com, he made quick work of the tunes, and his final take was recorded at 1:30 a.m.
