Chicago frontman and solo star Peter Cetera was born on September 13, 1944.

The “Glory Of Love” hitmaker made a name for himself first with the jazz-rock band Chicago in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, singing the hits “If You Leave Me Now,” “Hard To Say I’m Sorry” and “You’re The Inspiration.” Cetera left Chicago in 1985, and went on to a successful solo career, hitting the charts with such songs as “One Good Woman” and “The Next Time I Fall,” which he recorded with Amy Grant.

He released his most recent album, “You Just Gotta Love Christmas,” in 2004.
