House Minority Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio, echoed that warning, hinting that Democrats in swing districts may be targeted by attack ads featuring all of the unpopular provisions and “back room deals” that made it into the Senate bill to secure all 60 Democrats would vote in favor of it.

“How many Democrats are going to side with the Speaker over their constituents,” he asked. “How many Democrats are willing to vote blind when the American people strongly oppose this bill, small business owners are terrified by it.”

He added, “This fight is far from over. Republicans are going to continue to stand with the American people against this job-killing, massive government takeover of our health care system.”
