Bank of New York Mellon, referred to as BNY Mellon, is the eighth largest bank in the U.S., having assets of $372 billion. It is also the world’s largest custodian bank with more than $30.5 trillion in assets in custody. The bank was formed in 2007 as a result of the merger of the Bank of New York and Mellon Financial Corp.
