Stevie Wonder's classic record "Songs In The Key Of Life" first topped the charts on October 16, 1976. The double album included the hits "I Wish," "Pastime Paradise," "Isn't She Lovely?" and "Sir Duke."The LP ended the fourth and final reign of Peter Frampton's smash hit "Frampton Comes Alive!" in the number one spot. "Songs" would hold at the top of the Billboard 200 for 13 consecutive weeks, keeping the number one slot into the following January. It was finally booted by the Eagles' “Hotel California,” but would return to the top spot on January 29, 1977, for an additional one-week reign.
