Annaly Capital Management (NLY) announced after the close Monday that its Board of Directors declared a third quarter 2009 common stock cash dividend of $0.69 per common share. Shares of Annaly Capital Management gapped up Tuesday and rose steadily until mid-morning, closing higher by $0.89 at $19.59. The stock has been climbing for the last 2 1/2 weeks and set a new high for the year.
