Dollar Tree Inc. (DLTR) reported third quarter EPS of $0.76 Tuesday morning, which came in above the consensus estimate of $0.66. The company expects to report fourth quarter EPS of $1.30 to $1.39 and full year EPS of $3.34 to $3.43. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $1.35 and $3.29. Dollar Tree gapped open higher Tuesday and climbed in early trade, but settled into a range for the majority of the session. The stock finished up by $2.23 at $51.33 on above average volume. Shares rose above a 3-month range and set a new high for the year.
