Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTSH) reported third quarter EPS of $0.48 Tuesday morning, which topped the consensus estimate of $0.41. The company expects to report fourth quarter EPS of $0.49 and full year 2009 EPS of $1.88. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $0.42 and $1.68 respectively.
Cognizant Technology Solutions gapped up sharply Tuesday and is now trading higher by 2.77 at $41.57. The stock has risen above a one-month range and has set a new high for the year.
