Industrial production in Lithuania fell 8.8% year-on-year in October, Statistics Lithuania reported on Monday. Working day adjusted, industrial production dropped 7.6%. Manufacturing production dropped 10.5%, while output in the mining & quarrying sector plunged 40.8%.
On a monthly basis, industrial production rose by 0.9% in October, and after removal of seasonal influences, climbed. 0.5%. In the first ten months of the year, industrial output decreased 15.7% from a year ago.
