The release of Lil Wayne's highly-anticipated album, Rebirth, has been pushed back once more. The offering will not hit stores until sometime in 2010, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The album was first expected to be released in April, but has been pushed back several times since then. Rebirth was most recently postponed from December 15 to December 21.
In November, Wayne pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a weapon, and is expected to receive a one-year jail sentence. It has yet to be determined how much of a role his impending incarceration plays in the album's delay.
No new release date has been announced for Rebirth. Wayne's latest release, 2008's Tha Carter III, has achieved triple-platinum status.
