Natalie Cole and Jennifer Hudson will be a part of the White House concert next month in celebration of Black History Month and music of the Civil Rights Movement.
In Performance at the White House: A Celebration of Music from the Civil Rights Movement is planned for February 10 and will air the following night on PBS at 8 PM Eastern Time.
The event will be hosted by President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, and will be emceed by Morgan Freeman and Queen Latifah. Seal, the Blind Boys of Alabama, Bob Dylan and John Mellencamp are among the other artists expected to participate.
Earlier in the day, the first lady will host about 120 high school students, who will meet with the performers.
