Oasis' 1995 album, (What's the Story) Morning Glory?, was voted the Best British Album of the Last 30 years at this week's BRIT Awards. The award was accepted by Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher on Tuesday night at Earls Court in London.

The "Wonderwall" hitmakers beat out albums from Coldplay, Phil Collins, Dido, Dire Straits, Keane, Sade, Travis, Duffy and the Verve to win the award.

Onstage, Gallagher was his usual controversial self. He accepted the award on behalf of his band, saying, "Listen kids, I wanna thank bald head (Bonehead), Guigs, Alan White and the best f**king fans in the world."

He clearly skipped thanking his estranged brother and former bandmate, Noel Gallagher, who broke up the band last summer.

Gallagher then tossed the award and the microphone into the audience and stomped offstage. Gigwise reports that a fan made off with the award and then promptly put it up for sale on eBay. The top bid on the auction is currently £999,999, although the seller has yet to list any photos.
