Former Oasis songwriter Noel Gallagher and his girlfriend Sara MacDonald welcomed their second son, Sonny Patrick Gallagher into the world on Friday. Their first son Donovan Rory was born in 2007.
Sonny is Gallagher's third child. Noel also has a 10-year-old daughter from a previous marriage. In a recent interview with British radio, Gallagher says that music has taken a back seat to his family life in recent months.
"I'm moving house and my missus is nine months pregnant so I'm not doing anything until well into next year . . . . I'll be doing nappies and all that malarkey," he said while attending a film premiere.
Meanwhile, his brother and former bandmate Liam Gallagher has jumped head-first into his new band Beady Eye. The group is currently in the studio working on its debut record, which is expected in stores sometime in 2011.
