The UK service sector expanded at a slower pace in February largely due to negative impact on sales from the coronavirus outbreak, final survey data from IHS Markit showed Wednesday.
The IHS Markit/Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply services Purchasing Managers' Index dropped to 53.2 in February from 53.9 in January. The flash score was 53.3. This was the second-highest score since September 2018 and above the neutral 50 for the second straight month.
