EBay Stock Rises 6% On GameStop Acquisition Proposal

eBay Inc. (EBAY) shares gained 6.59 percent to $110.93, rising $6.86 on Monday, after the company confirmed it received an unsolicited acquisition proposal.

The stock is currently trading at $108.59, compared to its previous close of $104.07. It opened at $109.13 and has traded in a range of $108.49 to $111.38, with volume reaching 7,445,343 shares.

The move follows confirmation that eBay received a non-binding acquisition proposal from GameStop Corp. The company stated its board will review the proposal with financial and legal advisors to determine the best course of action for shareholders.

The stock has traded between $67.87 and $111.38 over the past 52 weeks.
