Shares of Corning Incorporated (GLW) are gaining around 8 percent on Monday morning after Amazon (AMZN) announced a multibillion-dollar agreement with the company to supply the optical fiber, cable, and connectivity solutions to the tech giant's expanding data center infrastructure across the United States.
The company's shares are currently trading at $191.94 on the New York Stock Exchange, gaining 8.01 percent in the latest session. The stock opened at $189.38 and touched an intraday high of $192.90. Over the past 12 months, the shares have traded between $49.47 and $211.79.
