The New Zealand dollar extended its early European session's rally against the US dollar ahead of the North American session on Tuesday.
The kiwi climbed to 0.8498 against the greenback around 7:45 am ET, its strongest level since February 15 and nearly 40 pips higher than Monday's close of 0.8461. The next barrier for the pair is seen around the 0.85 level.
