New Jersey governor and likely presidential candidate Chris Christie took some ribbing from fans at a charity softball game at Yankee Stadium.

He was booed a few times despite flashing a decent glove at third base.

Christie was surprisingly nimble coming up with some grounders toward the hot corner.

His throwing mechanics are less than stellar, but the governor moves pretty well for a big guy.

At one point, someone in the crowd shouted, "Chris Christie hates cops!" loud enough for anyone on the field to hear, according to NJ.com.

Apparently it wasn't anger directed at him for being a Republican. Former NYC mayor Rudy Giuliani was greeted with cheers of "Ru-dy! Ru-dy!" just after the crowd heckled Christie.

The crowd reaction didn't seem to bug Christie, who was named MVP of the game.

Other celebs at the game included Buffalo Bills coach Rex Ryan, Howard Stern chum Artie Lange and broadcaster Kenny Albert.
