A television talent show centered around blockchain expertise will premiere on Asia Economy TV on October 19.
The blockchain survival television show titled 'Blockbattle - Who's the Next Satoshi' will pit blockchain development teams from around the world. The winner will be crowned the next Satoshi Nakamoto, and handed over 100 million Won or $89748 as prize-money.
The champion team will be eligible to attend expert mentoring program from professionals all over the world. They will also get an opportunity to be supported from Global investment funds, the organizers say.
Blockchain projects that are yet to launch their own mainnet can participate in the competition, the official website says.
"After the screening, ten projects will qualify for the finals. They will go through a series of presentations, one-on-one battles, and other team competitions."
The winner will be selected based on votes they receive from the viewers during the television show.
Five episodes of Blockbattle will be broadcast on Asia Economy TV. The final episode is scheduled for November 19.
Asia Economy TV is available in China, Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, Vietnam, and Hong Kong.
The show will also be live streamed on youtube channel "coincast."
