NYSE Euronext Names Dominique Cerutti Deputy CEO And Global Head Of Technology - Quick Facts

NYSE Euronext (NYX) disclosed the appointment of Dominique Cerutti as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Global Head of Technology, effective year-end 2009, pending regulatory approvals. He will also be appointed President of Euronext Paris and Chairman of the Managing Board of Euronext NV. Cerutti, who currently serves as General Manager of IBM Southwest Europe, will report to Duncan Niederauer, Chief Executive Officer, NYSE Euronext. He will succeed Jean-Francois Theodore, who earlier this year announced his intention to retire at year's end while remaining a director of the company, subject to regulatory approval.

Also, Cerutti will join the NYSE Euronext's Management Committee, subject to regulatory approval. He will be based in NYSE Euronext's European headquarters in Paris, where he will oversee global technology/IT and will assume responsibility for business operations, customer relations and competitive position in Europe. Furthermore, Cerutti will join the leadership team in forming and executing NYSE Euronext's strategic plan, seeking new business growth and revenue generating opportunities including acquisitions and strategic partnerships, and developing new products and services.
