Nickelback's hit, "Gotta Be Somebody," is getting the country music treatment, with singer Bucky Covington releasing his own version of the song earlier this week.
"Gotta Be Somebody" was a top 10 hit for Nickelback, reaching number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song also reached number one on the Billboard Hot Adult Top 40 Tracks chart.
The song was the first official single from the band's Dark Horse album. The single was released in September 2008.
Nickelback is currently prepping for a tour of New Zealand and Australia that will kick off November 7 in Auckland, New Zealand.
"Gotta Be Somebody" will be the second song released from Covington's upcoming I'm Alright album.
