Knight Capital Group (NITE) reported third quarter net income from continuing operations of $0.32 per share Wednesday morning, down from the $0.46 per share reported last year. The consensus estimate was for $0.39 per share. Knight Capital Group gapped down sharply Wednesday and spiked lower in early trade. Shares slipped further around noon and finished down by $3.66 at $18.13 on the highest volume of the year. The stock dropped to a 2-month low and fell below its 50-day moving average.
