Wednesday, Evercore Partners Inc. (EVR) said its third-quarter U.S. GAAP net income attributable to Evercore Partners Inc. was $2.63 million or $0.14 per share compared with a loss of $0.46 million or $0.04 per share in the prior year period.
Adjusted Pro forma net income attributable to Evercore Partners Inc. for the recent quarter rose to $10.99 million or $0.29 per share from $2.27 million or $0.07 per share in the year-ago period. On average, 9 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.22 per share for the quarter.
Net revenues for the quarter increased to $83.38 million from $56.02 million in the comparable period. Seven analysts estimated revenues of $74.56 million for the quarter.
The board of directors of Evercore have declared a quarterly dividend of $0.15 per share to be paid on December 11, 2009 to common stockholders of record on November 27, 2009.
