The company expects to report full year 2009 core EPS between $0.85 and $1.05, compared to the consensus estimate of $0.50. The stock is now trading higher by 0.88 on 512K shares.
Hartford Financial Services climbed during the first 45 minutes of trade Tuesday and advanced further around the middle of the afternoon. The stock closed up by 1.01 at $25.82.
