Allstate Corp. (ALL) reported that its third-quarter net earnings were $221 million or $0.41 per share, compared to a loss of $923 million or $1.70 per share in the same quarter last year.
Operating income for the quarter was $538 million or $0.99 per share, compared to a loss of $190 million or $0.35 per share in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter were $7.58 billion, compared to $7.32 billion in the prior year quarter.
