Starbucks Corp. Rose To A New High On Q4 Results

Starbucks Corp. (SBUX) announced fourth quarter EPS of $0.24 after the bell Thursday, which topped the consensus estimate of $0.21. The company also raised its full year 2010 EPS growth forecast to between a 15% and 20% increase from 2009, from prior expectations of a increase between 13% and 18%.

Starbucks Corp. gapped open higher Friday and climbed further late in the morning. The stock closed higher by 1.42 at $21.12 on the highest volume in over 3 months. Starbucks rose past resistance and set a new high for the year.
