Rosetta Resources Inc. (ROSE) reported net income for the third quarter of $5.7 million or $0.11 per share, compared to a net loss of $99.4 million or $1.96 per share for the year-ago quarter.
Total revenue for the third quarter fell to $64.48 million from $130.04 million in the prior year quarter.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.10 per share on revenue of $63.70 million for the third quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
