ZOLL Medical Corp. (ZOLL) reported fourth quarter earnings of $9.6 million or $0.45 per share, compared to $23.4 million or $1.10 per share in the prior year period.
On average, six analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.08 per share. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Revenues for the period were $385.2 million, compared to $398.0 million in last year period. Five Wall Street analysts expected revenues of $98.70 million.
The company said the results include approximately $6.9 million of revenue derived from its new Temperature Management business, whose assets were acquired from Alsius Corporation in May 2009.
