Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF) reported third quarter EPS of $0.30 Friday morning, which topped the consensus estimate of $0.20. Abercrombie & Fitch gapped up sharply Friday and climbed further around mid-morning. Shares continued to gain ground in the afternoon and finished higher by $3.92 at $40.68 on the highest volume of the year. The stock broke out of a one-month range and closed at a new high for the year.
