Research In Motion (RIMM) reported third quarter EPS of $1.10 after the bell Thursday, up from the $0.69 posted last year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $1.04. Research In Motion gapped open sharply higher Friday, but declined during the first hour of trade. Shares were range-bound for the remainder of the session and closed up by $6.54 at $70.00. The stock rose to nearly a 3-month high and re-crossed its 200-day moving average.
