Allegiant Travel Co. (ALGT), parent company of Allegiant Air and Allegiant Vacations, reported that fourth quarter net income declined to $10.5 million or $0.52 per share from $18.2 million or $0.88 per share in the year-ago quarter.
Total operating revenue for the quarter rose 10.0% to $134.7 million from $122.4 million a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated the company to report $0.48 per share for the quarter on $129.92 million revenue.
Allegiant Travel expects maintenance expenses to return to more normal levels in 2010, to a range of $95,000 to $105,000 per aircraft per month.
