The US dollar edged slightly higher against the currencies of Europe and Switzerland in late Asian trading on Thursday. As of 2:30 am ET, the greenback was quoted at 1.3624 against the euro and 1.0725 versus the Swiss franc, up from Wednesday's close of 1.3658 and 1.0701, respectively. The dollar is presently trading at 1.3627 against the common currency and 1.0723 versus the alpine unit.
