Chris Brown has told critics that he will not be disappearing from the limelight, after receiving backlash from his performance at Floyd Mayweather's and Shane Mosley's boxing match at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas last weekend.
Brown's performance of the National Anthem before the fight was highlighted by the press as ironic, since it took place less than one year after he went to court and pleaded guilty to assaulting his now ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
The singer took to Twitter to express his feelings on the situation in a series of posts.
"If i wasn't somewhat sane and love my fans and music so damn much i would give up . . . but that's not why i was put on this earth . . . youll see [sic]," he tweeted. He added, "Im human. how many of you are perfect???????????" and continued, "if there is no forgiveness, there is no change . . . im humbled by everything . . ."
