Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals announced that the consolidated net profit for the year ended March 31, 2010 declined to Rs.217.23 crore from Rs.225.59 crore in the previous year. Total income decreased to Rs.4,194.90 crore from Rs.5,671.21 crore in the last year.
On a standalone basis, the company's net profit for the year ended March 31, 2010 grew to Rs.249.05 crore from Rs.230.56 crore in the prior year. Total income decreased to Rs.3,641.34 crore from Rs.4,714.98 crore in the last year.
The company recommended dividend of 19% or Re.1.90 per share for the year ended March 31, 2010.
