Katy Perry isn't afraid to speak her mind when it comes to religion, and now it seems that Madonna has fallen into her crosshairs. During a recent interview with Britain's the Sun, Katy says she does not approve of Madge's use of religious imagery during concerts.
"For me, spirituality is something very important and I don't like it when people take it lightly," she said. "At times, I don't understand why there are artists who play that card, like when Madonna gets up on a cross to sing."
Madonna is not, however, the only celeb that Katy has taken on when it comes to religion. She also says that she has challenged her new husband, British comic Russell Brand, to clean up his stand-up act.
She adds, "Russell has made very blasphemous jokes in the past, but he's making fewer all the time because he knows that I am very sensitive about this subject."
