SolarWorld AG (SRWRF.PK) Thursday said consolidated profits for 2010 was up by 48.0 percent, to 87.3 million euros compared to 59.0 million euros a year ago.
Revenues went up 28.8 percent over the previous year to 1.30 billion euros from 1.01 billion euros last year. The company stated that it increased its shipments of wafers and solar power modules by 42 percent to 819 MW versus 578 MW, which boosted its revenue.
Further, the Management Board and the Supervisory Board are expected to propose a dividend increase to 0.19 euros at the next Annual General Meeting.
