Filtrona plc (FLTR.L) confirmed the completion of the purchase of the assets and business of Reid Supply Company, effective 6 September 2011.
Michigan-based Reid Supply is highly complementary to the company's Protection & Finishing Products division and the transaction demonstrates Filtrona's commitment to identifying quality acquisitions where it can leverage its commercial model and global infrastructure to achieve faster growth, the company added.
